We began working with the Lambeth GP Food Coop three years ago on its start-up. The Coop was started to provide borough-wide GP surgeries with more of a connection between their patients and staff, and also a long-term idea to supply areas of the Lambeth NHS service with seasonal food. The main aim for the onsite gardening activity would be to act as a well-being tool for those interested and also the more needy service users.

Since we started we have worked as design and logistical consultants, as well as building all the garden fixtures and fittings with majority young people, not in employment or education. We were part of the team that won Best Sustainable Food Initiative, NHS Sustainability Unit/Public Health England 2013.
